Job summary

District School Board Ontario North East is seeking a part-time/1.0 FTE equivalent custodian to perform routine cleaning and maintenance in the school facilities. The role runs 3:00pm–8:00pm, 25 hours per week, with a 0.625 FTE appointment and permanent/full-time status.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, WHMIS certification, and prior custodial experience; reading safety rules and writing routine reports is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor.

• Musthave physical ability to perform medium to heavy work tasks.
• HighSchool diploma or general degree (GED).
• CurrentWHMIS certificate.
• Experiencein custodial work is preferred.
