Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation inside and outside the store, ensuring all spaces are prepared for customers. As needed, actively engage customers using the Five Elements of the Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Building a Culture of Customer Service: Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Greet customers, assist as needed, and keep interactions concise to focus on tasks.
2. Store Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, cash register areas, break rooms, bathrooms, trash areas, and storefront. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning high-touch areas, windows, mirrors, and refilling supplies.
3. Workstation Maintenance: Keep the workstation organized and clean for safety and efficiency. Follow cleaning guidelines and notify management of supply needs.
4. Meeting Targets: Complete assigned duties and projects, and review results with managers.
5. Loss Prevention: Follow procedures and report theft or suspicious activity.
6. Safety: Follow safety standards, report hazards or injuries, and wear PPE as required.
7. Other Tasks: Assist in other areas or tasks as assigned, including recovery, customer service, or additional cleaning duties.

Mandatory Traits and Requirements:

• Ability to read and write.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to concentrate.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical safety.
• Must be 18 years or older (U.S. only).

Educational Skills: Basic math skills equivalent to high school level.

Physical Skills Required:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, standing, bending, crouching, repetitive hand use, grasping.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to dust and temperature fluctuations.
• Flexible scheduling, possible overtime.
• Always wear PPE.
