Full Time Custodial/Cleaning Services Worker - Seneca College Peterborough Campus - Monday to Friday - Afternoon Shift

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
2. Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
3. Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
4. Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
5. Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
6. Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
7. Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
8. Ensure security of company assets.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients, and co-workers.
• Adaptable to guests’ needs.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
