The Opportunity
We are seeking a Licensed Practitioner Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team providing trauma informed nursing & participant support services to vulnerable Calgarians with complex health and social needs. As part of a multidisciplinary, intensive case management team, you will support participants transitioning from acute care to community through advocating for the dignity and voice of participants within the health and social service systems.
You embody a strength-based and client-centered approach, demonstrating openness, non-judgment, and a firm belief in equitable care for all. You possess a deep understanding of the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their long-lasting effects on health and well-being and recognize that behaviours often stem from unmet needs. You stay focused on providing consistent support, regardless of how individuals present themselves while navigating their journey to well-being. You also champion collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and dignity—core values we uphold at CUPS.
LOCATION: Office location 1001 10 Ave SW, Outreach within Calgary Area REPORTS TO: Connect2Care Team Lead CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
