Work begins January 1, 2027 and ends April 30, 2027, with in-person delivery at Main Campus. Total hours: 65; hourly rates are $33.83 or $53.31 depending on student status (undergrad vs grad).

Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of biochemistry consistent with a chemistry major
  • If not a Chemistry graduate student, a qualifying test may be required
  • Completion of WHIMIS and OH&S workshops

Requirements and Nature of Work

Providing assistance to students having any questions related to introductory biochemistry courses.

Minimum Qualifications
  • The candidate must possess a broad knowledge of biochemistry consistent with that of a major in chemistry and must have completed their studies with outstanding marks or their equivalent.
  • All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify. (Unless already previously done.)
  • Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops
