Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator for PHY1322 at the Main Campus. The role covers preparation, student contact, grading, and proctoring tasks for the Principles of Physics II course.

• TA: 130h
• Marking/Grading: Up to 68 hours of marking and grading.
• Contact with students: Up to 16 hours of DGD.
• Preparation: Up to 24 hours of prep time / course material development.
• Proctoring: Up to 4 hours of proctoring of a final exam.
• Other Duties: Up to 6 hours of proctoring, course evaluation, preparing demos etc.

Responsibilities

• In-class support and tutoring for Principles of Physics II.
• Assist with grading and feedback for students.
• Provide during-class assistance and student help during office hours.

• Contact with students: Up to 12 hours of office hours, helping students.
• Other Duties: 4 hours of proctoring of a final exam.
• Please note: the proctoring of a final exam will be assigned by the Faculty of Science.
• Other Duties: Up to 6 hours of proctoring, course evaluation, preparing demos etc.
• TA: 65h
• Marking/Grading: Up to 17 hours of marking and grading.
• Contact with students: Up to 16 hours of DGD.
• Preparation: Up to 24 hours of prep time / course material development.
• Other Duties: 4 hours of proctoring of a final exam.
• Other Duties: Up to 4 hours of proctoring midterms, preparing demos etc.
