The University of Ottawa is seeking two Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor positions for the Winter 2027 session. Work is on the Main Campus with in-person delivery of the course CHG2724, Principles and applications of thermodynamics in chemical engineering.

Responsibilities include proctoring exams and collaborating with faculty to support students. Candidates must have a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent and be proficient in French.

Qualifications

• B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Having already taken and successfully completed a thermodynamics course.
• Strong knowledge of the French language; able to conduct DGD in French.

Responsabilités

• Proctoring/exam supervision as part of duties.
• Other duties as negotiated with the supervising professor and described in the work agreement.

B. A .Sc. en Génie Chimique ou l’équivalent; avoir déjà pris et bien réussi un cours de thermodynamique; bonne connaissance de la langue française = être capable de diriger les DGD en français.

Il est possible que le mode d’enseignement change selon les directives et recommandations de la santé publique ou pour toutes autres raisons. Des postes peuvent aussi s’ajouter si le nombre d’inscriptions le justifie.

_ Remarque : La méthode d’enseignement pour ce cours sera offerte en personne. Cette affectation se déroulera sur le campus d’Ottawa du 1 __ er _ _ janvier au 30 avril 2027, sans exception.
