The University of Ottawa is hiring a Teaching Assistant/Graduate TA for the course DVM3540 Financement du développement international at the Main Campus for the 2027 Spring/Summer session.

Responsibilities include leading group discussions, grading assignments and exams, consulting with students, and supervising exams. Candidates must be available on campus for in-person activities as required.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work: DVM 3540 Financement du développement international (3 crédits) Analyse économique et politique des principales sources et mécanismes nationaux et internationaux de financement du développement : la fiscalité, les marchés des capitaux, les aides, les transferts des migrants et la philanthropie. Aperçu des financements innovants tels, la microfinance, les fonds mixtes, les finances communautaires et les transferts des flux financiers illicites Volet : Cours magistral Préalables : ECO 1502, ECO 1504, DVM 2505, DVM 2506. Horaire: Lundi 11:30 - 12:50 et Jeudi 13:00 - 14:20 ** Veuillez noter que tous les cours de la session d'hiver 2027 sont offerts en personne. ** Nature du travail : Une variété de tâches telle que l`animation des groupes de discussions, la correction de travaux et d`examens, la consultation avec les étudiants, la surveillance d`examen, etc.

Qualifications

Connaissance et intérêt pour le développement international et mondialisation; facilité à communiquer en français. L`expérience en animation de groupe, en tant qu`assistant à l`enseignement et/ou correction est un atout. L'École s'attend à ce que tous les assistants soient disponibles pour se présenter physiquement sur le campus afin de mener à bien toutes leurs tâches. Le mode d'enseignement peut changer pour des raisons de santé ou autres. Certains professeurs s'attendent à ce que leurs assistants assistent aux cours. Il est donc important de vérifier l'horaire des cours auxquels vous souhaitez postuler, pour éviter les conflits d'horaire.
