Job summary

The University of Ottawa, located at Main Campus, seeks a Research Assistant (CUPE) to support manuscript and peer-review workflow in the Faculty of Education. The position runs from September 25, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with 130 total work hours and one opening.

Under supervision, you will organize files, invite reviewers, prepare routine correspondence, and assist in identifying reviewers. Compensation ranges from 34 to 53 CAD hourly prior to vacation pay and statutory pay.

Hourly Rate: AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $33.83 ou/or $53.31 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027) The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.
