Signing Bonus available for Red Seal Certified Heavy Equipment/Truck & Trailer Technicians, as well as for those completing Block 4 working on Red Seal Certification.

Key Responsibilities for a Technician:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of X15 engines, including power trains, electrical systems, steering, electronics, brake systems, and suspension systems.
• Navigate Insite effectively.
• Utilize EDS efficiently.
• Write clear and detailed stories for customer and warranty work, explaining repairs.
• Follow SRT protocols.
• Identify and determine parts required for disassembled units.
• Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repairs.
• Complete technical reports promptly and accurately from various manufacturers.
• Be available to work covering after-hours service calls for emergencies.
• Work well in a team environment and maintain a professional, positive, cooperative attitude.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college certification for Truck & Transport.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., or in accordance with provincial health & safety standards.
• Willingness to continue training.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to work with Windows-based software.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a service environment.
