CCIS (Calgary Catholic Immigration Society) is a nonprofit organization that provides settlement and integration services to all immigrants and refugees in Southern Alberta.Since our inception in 1981, we have been a community leader with solid experience in the design and delivery of comprehensive services for our newest neighbours. We deliver these services through a dynamic, multi-cultural, multi-denominational and multi-disciplinary team of professionals who collectively speak over 80 languages.
From airport reception to a first job interview, CCIS’s programs and services have been designed to assist immigrants and refugees through all phases of the settlement and integration process. CCIS – Family and Children’s Services (FCS) Division
The Family & Children’s Services division operates on a holistic, strength-based philosophy to facilitate the integration of families and children into the community, enhance the provision of services to newcomers through community resources, strengthen families and the community, and promote the healthy development of children.
Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) is a nonprofit organization that provides settlement and integration services to all immigrants and refugees in Calgary and Southern Alberta. With over 45 years of solid community experience, 90 active programs, and comprehensive wraparound support, CCIS ensures that our services respond to the needs of ethnically diverse communities within Calgary and the area.
Program Description:
CCIS, in partnership with Calgary and Area Children and Family Services (CFS), is currently implementing a Cultural Brokerage Program with the overall objective to increase collaboration, engagement, and partnership with culturally diverse communities in Calgary, and strengthen community capacity within Calgary’s multicultural communities. To achieve this, CCIS’s Family & Children Services Division is looking for our Cultural Broker- who speaks fluently Ukrainian and is accepting applications from qualified job seekers!
Terms of Employment: Full Time – 40 hours/week, covering parental leave, June 16th, 2025, to June 15th, 2026- a year contract.
Location: The position will be in CFS locations across the city
