Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for Real Sports Bar & Grill in Toronto. You will lead a high-volume team, coach staff, and uphold service standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires evening/weekend availability, Smart Serve certification, and strong guest relations. You’ll work with the restaurant manager on seating, pre-opening duties, and staff assignments, ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and bartending operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching/training/motivation to the restaurant team at Real Sports Bar & Grill (RS).
• Work with the restaurant manager to prepare and organize seating plans.
• Ensure pre-opening duties are completed and staff are assigned sections.
• Assist in expediting food orders to all sections of the restaurant.
• Supervise the floor during service; respond to guest concerns.
• Document service issues and resolutions.
• Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.
• Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.
