Job summary

Un service de garde éducatif recherche un Cuisinier/cuisinière pour créer des repas sains et attractifs pour des enfants de 0 à 5 ans. Sous la direction de la direction générale, vous élaborerez des menus, préparerez des repas, et collaborerez avec les éducateurs pour rendre la cuisine amusante et éducative. Qualifications

Job Description

Under the responsibility of the general management, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing economical, varied, attractive, balanced menus compliant with the Canadian Food Guide and the food policy of the CPE de Boucherville;
  • Preparing daily meals and two snacks, and ensuring their service and distribution in collaboration with educators;
  • Planning purchases and placing orders;
  • Ensuring food quality and proper storage;
  • Adapting menus for children with food allergies;
  • Maintaining the kitchen daily according to strict hygiene standards;
  • Collaborating with educators to explore flavors with young children.
Professional Qualifications

This job requires recognized professional qualifications outside the educational or university sector (certificates, permits, courses, membership in a professional association, etc.).

  • French spoken - High proficiency
  • French written - Medium proficiency
Training
  • Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP), Food and Tourism - Cooking
