PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data, creating, and maintaining accurate BOMs, measuring usage forecast accuracy and recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Support reaching KPI targets through analysis and process improvement.
2. Report and collaborate with leadership on SCM KPIs.
3. Create processes and methods to gather and use supply chain analytics.
4. Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
5. Create a process and schedule to audit BOMs.
6. Work with internal and external customers to create and utilize strategic sustainable processes to maximize information.
7. Collaborate with internal IS to understand and improve data collection and output.
8. Develop a measurement tool to determine BOM accuracy. Report accuracy results to management.
9. Facilitate any discussions required to resolve issues related to BOM creation and maintenance.
10. Understand the cost impact of changing materials and items, as well as its impact on processing orders, inventory values, and variances.
11. Evaluate RFP’s for total cost impact and collaborate with team on vendor selection.
12. Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (warehousing, utilization, etc.)
13. Develop, implement, and maintain all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed for the uniformity and quality of operations and in keeping with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
14. Meet operational strategies defined by management by analyzing trends, preparing critical measurements, implementing productivity improvements and resolving problems.
15. Oversee inventory procedures.
16. Works effectively to maintain interdepartmental communication, cooperation, and respect.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Must be a proficient PC user.
3. Excellent analytical skills.
4. Ability to develop actionable insights from data analysis.
5. Must be comfortable presenting data analysis and recommended actions to large groups of people.

WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

1. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
2. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

1. Demonstrated ability to perform SCM analysis and inventory management in a non-MRP environment.
2. Ability to develop actionable insights from data analysis.
