Responsibilities
The CT / Radiologic Technologist is responsible for practicing within the scope defined by the California Business and Professional Code and successfully completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation, demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance.
Technologists maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment and perform patient care services supporting the physician/provider's practice under supervision of radiologists, licensed staff, and management. This includes assisting in patient preparation for CT and X-ray exams, relaying instructions from radiologists, collecting patient data, documenting concerns, messages, and care provided in the medical record for radiologist review, and performing diagnostic medical imaging.
May be required to work in other modalities with appropriate licensure and occasionally at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.
