  • Participate in creating and maintaining policies, procedures for the cryptography governance program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations for governance workstreams and mitigate cryptographic risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in cryptography and provide guidance on their inclusion in standards.

  • Compliance - An understanding of relevant industry guidance related to cryptographic mechanisms and standards.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement - Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, executives, employees, and external parties.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – Adept in their ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and solve complex problems.
  • Leadership and collaboration – Candidate will be required to work with others, build trust, and influence stakeholders to achieve cryptographic governance program objectives.
  • Policy development and implementation – Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that support RBC’s cryptographic governance practices.
  • Monitoring and reporting - The ability to track and report on cryptographic governance performance, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Adaptability and continuous learning - The ability to stay up-to-date with changing governance requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
