Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. in Greater Sudbury is seeking a Shift Operations Supervisor for crushing sites.
You will supervise personnel, oversee start/stop of equipment, and ensure safe operation during shifts, with a focus on safety meetings and continuous training. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in mining, 5 years in crushing and screening plants with supervisory experience, and readiness to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsible for shift operations at crushing sites. Supervise the work of personnel engaged in performing routine operations at the crushers. Must have knowledge of Aggregate material types and production methods. Equipment start up and shutdown. Be aware of environmentally sensitive areas and be alert to correct environmental problems that may develop in the assigned work area. Complete proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues. Perform equipment repairs as needed and source outside support when necessary. Be responsible for the safe operation of the crusher areas during the shift, with regular safety training of personnel and safety meetings to target a zero level of incident.
Degree or Diploma in the mining industry or equivalent from a recognized institute. 5 years of proven experience in crushing and screening plants and conveying and stacking systems. Must have prior supervisory experience. Experienced in environmental procedures and quality control. Working outdoors, varied temperatures, and weather conditions. Working indoors in varied conditions (i.e. hot, noisy, and dusty). Working rotating shifts, overtime and weekends when required. Effortless mobility through all areas of the plant. Working at heights.
