Job Posting : Experienced Crusher Operator

Rotation : 3 weeks on 3 weeks off

Tamatta Mining & Construction is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our reputable clients for an experienced Crusher Operator.

Key Responsibilities :

• Uphold health and safety protocols by adhering to company policies and acting responsibly at all times during shifts.
• Primarily operate the crusher with occasional operation of other heavy equipment such as loaders or rock trucks to move load and process materials like earth rock and gravel in a safe manner.
• Complete daily shift documentation including equipment inspections load sheets and hazard assessments.
• Conduct preoperation checks including cleaning lubricating and refilling fluids for machinery.
• Participate actively in preshift safety briefings and meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within equipment cabs.
• Follow all safety standards regulations and sitespecific rules.
• Engage in any required onsite training sessions.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum of 5 years of crusher operation experience in a mining or heavy civil construction environment.
• Knowledge of heavy civil and mining operations including loading and hauling.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Proven safety record with experience working within a safetyfocused culture in a fastpaced environment.
• Experience working in remote mining or industrial sites is essential.
• Selfdriven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel for work assignments.
• Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. standing and walking for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Able to maintain high performance levels during 12hour shifts.

Preferred Certifications :

• Valid safety tickets such as First Aid / CPR TDG and Fall Protection are highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Daily blended rate of $600$700 based on a 12hour shift experience and certifications.
• Travel to and from the project site from Edmonton Alberta or Yellowknife NWT is required with a travel allowance provided.
• Rotation schedule of 3 weeks onsite followed by 3 weeks off.
