Job Posting: Experienced Crusher Operator
Location: Remote Fly-in Camp, Nunavut
Rotation: 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off

Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting on behalf of our reputable client for an experienced Crusher Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold health and safety protocols by adhering to company policies and acting responsibly during shifts.
- Operate the crusher primarily, with occasional use of other heavy equipment such as loaders or rock trucks to move, load, and process materials like earth, rock, and gravel safely.
- Complete daily shift documentation, including equipment inspections, load sheets, and hazard assessments.
- Conduct pre-operation checks, including cleaning, lubricating, and refilling machinery fluids.
- Participate actively in pre-shift safety briefings and meetings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within equipment cabs.
- Follow all safety standards, regulations, and site-specific rules.
- Engage in on-site training sessions as required.
- Perform general labor tasks to support the team when needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of crusher operation experience in mining or heavy civil construction environments.
- Knowledge of heavy civil and mining operations, including loading and hauling.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proven safety record and experience working within a safety-focused culture in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in remote mining or industrial sites is essential.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments.
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., standing, walking for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Able to maintain high performance levels during 12-hour shifts.
Preferred Certifications:
- Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, TDG, and Fall Protection are highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Daily rate of $600-$700, based on experience and certifications, for a 12-hour shift.
- Travel to and from the project site from Edmonton, Alberta, or Yellowknife, NWT, with a travel allowance.
- Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on-site, 3 weeks off.
