Job summary

Armor People Link is seeking an experienced Crown Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift operator for a long-term role at our client’s GTA service locations in Mississauga, Ontario. You will operate the Crown order picker to pick and move orders safely and accurately within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The shift is scheduled 8 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime and weekends possible; compensation includes CAD 21–22 per hour plus 4% vacation pay, with overtime after 44 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid license for forklift operation.
• Minimum 2 years of Crown order picker/cherry picker experience.
• Knowledge of wire-guided mode and fall protection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Crown Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift to pick and move products safely and accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory movement records and locations.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Afternoon Shift

Shift: 8 AM to 4:30 PM (with flexible to work overtime and over the weekend). Pay rate: $21-$22/hour + 4% vacation pay (OT will be paid after 44 hours).

Here is the Scoop- Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced Crown Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift operator who will be responsible to operate machine to pick all orders in a safe, accurate and methodical manner. This is a long-term, ongoing position and candidates with exceptional work ethics, attendance and performance can be given a hired-on opportunity with our client.

What a typical day looks like?

• Operate the Crown Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift to efficiently pick and move products within the warehouse.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Accurately maintain records of inventory movement and product locations.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
• Scan and put away all new inventory into narrow aisle rack locations.

Requirements

• Valid license and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating the Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift, specifically Crown machines.
• Knowledge and experience on wire guide mode.
• Fall Arrest or Fall Protection license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
