Job summary

Laidlaw Carriers Van seeks experienced AZ Highway Company Drivers based in Guelph, ON, to haul Dry Van freight across Canada and the United States. Week typically starts Sundays and finishes Fridays, 5–6 days out, sleeping in the truck.

We emphasize safety, reliability, and strong communication as core expectations. Drivers may be assigned to Dry Van or Reefer divisions, with competitive compensation and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ licence or Class 1.
• 2 years of verified Canada/USA driving experience.
• Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract.
• Clean criminal record check (required for cross-border travel).
• Must be willing and able to travel into the United States regularly.
• Comfortable being out in the truck 5–6 consecutive days per week.
• FAST Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight between Canada and the U.S.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and cross-border regulations
• Complete dispatch-assigned work efficiently and professionally
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
