About the Role & Team

As a CRM Specialist, you will draft copy, work with marketing operations and the creative team to collect and verify promotional terms and assets as well as schedule and execute campaigns in our CRM tool. You will manage customer segments and help oversee the communications calendar in conjunction with the ESPN BET Sportsbook team to create a cohesive cross-platform experience. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, detail oriented and have proven experience in delivering end-to-end CRM campaigns across email, push and in-app mobile messaging.

About the Work
  • Work as part of the ESPN BET CRM team to prepare, schedule and analyze promotions and lifecycle communications for the ESPN BET brand.
  • Draft personalized and engaging promotional copy for our customer base
  • Work hand-in-hand with both the marketing operations and commercial sportsbook teams to coordinate logistics and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Increase customer engagement and retention, reducing churn, and actively moving users further down the loyalty path.
  • Collaborate and strategize with the ESPN BET Sportsbook team to ensure we create a cohesive cross-platform user experience.
  • Use data and work closely with the analytics and commercial marketing teams to identify key customer behaviors, provide regular reporting on campaign performance, and continuously identify ways to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Be a proactive part of the ideation process, contributing in team meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Other duties as required.
About You
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years CRM experience or equivalent position.
  • In-depth knowledge of the iGaming/retail sportsbook space.
  • Proven experience in delivering end-to-end CRM campaigns across email, push, SMS and in-app mobile messaging; Optimove experience a plus.
  • Strong copywriting and project management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail is a must.
  • Data-driven and curious about customer behavior.
  • Optimistic, solutions oriented and a great problem solver.
  • Strong team player, always willing to offer support and assistance when required.
  • Collaborative in your approach and good at building strong working relationships.
