Position: Social Worker, Counsellor - Trauma Response

Location: BC, Alberta, Yukon, NWT (any location)

Summary:

You will be providing group Critical Incident Response to TELUS Health's organizational clients, as an independent contractor.

What you will do:

  • Provide Critical Incident Response to our organizational clients;
  • Work / travel to an on-site location in BC, AB, YT, NWT;
  • Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health's Trauma department.

Who we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, or social work;
  • Registration with a College or Association where a College does not exist, and valid professional liability insurance;
  • CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification is an asset;
  • Experience delivering group debriefing and/or running counselling groups;
  • Ability to convey sensitivity, professional manner and effective approach when facilitating interventions within the corporate environment;
  • Flexibility to respond to client needs.
