Qualifications

• RN EC with acute care NP cert and CNO certification is mandatory.
• Extensive ICU/CCU experience in cardiology settings is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required for clinical engagement.
• Ability to lead education for staff and coordinate care plans.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary teams and families.

Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (RN, EC) with current Certification with the CNO with an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification

ICU/CCU nursing experience (Level 3 Medical/Surgical ICU)

Coronary Care/Cardiology nursing experience (Level 2/3)

ACLS certification

Basic Rescuer (C) – Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario

CRRT experience

ICU Nurse Practitioner – 2 years preferred

Canadian Nurses Association critical care certification
