Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a part-time course assistant for a criminology course. The position is in-person with start on January 01, 2027 and end on April 30, 2027, under the supervision of Brendyn Johnson. The work will involve discussion groups, grading, office hours, and exam proctoring.

Work is conducted in French, with responsibilities aligned to course delivery and assessment. Applications must be received before 2027/11/07.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Baccalauréat with specialization in criminology or equivalent.
• BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Animation de groupes de discussion, correction de travaux et d’examens, consultation personnelle avec les étudiants, et surveillance d’examens.
• Various responsibilities such as discussion groups, marking of papers and exams, office hours to meet with students, and proctor at exams.
• The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested to do so.
