You have exceptional writing skills, are a published author, have experience drafting criminal applications, factums, briefs etc and have experience practicing criminal law. Your job will have many components but will be focused on drafting and preparing affidavits, charter applications, briefs of law, notices of appeal, factums and all manner of other criminal law related pleadings. In this capacity, you will assist the other lawyers in the firm. You will have the opportunity to appear in court and perform a variety of other functions but the focus of your job will be on preparing written material and doing all the case law research and other work associated with that task. This is a full-time, in-office position offering mentorship from Senior Counsel. You can expect compensation of between $130,000 and $150,000 per annum.
