An established industry player is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst to enhance public safety through strategic analysis of criminal data. The Criminal Intelligence Analyst is responsible for tactical and strategic analysis of criminal data for problem solving and identification and interpretation of current and anticipated criminal activity, patterns and trends. This position is required to apply the principles of criminal intelligence analysis to interpret information regarding its impact on the criminal investigative process and will support the overall mission of the Regional Intelligence and Investigation Center (RIIC).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
A graduate degree or certificate in intelligence studies, criminal justice, research methods, or related discipline; or a Bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines previously noted with two or more years of law enforcement or military intelligence experience which affords the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience in oral briefings for senior law enforcement and data analysis, research methods, theory and statistics, preferably in a law enforcement capacity. Preferred toolset experience with Visual Analytics, Penlink - performing toll analysis, SQL Server, ArcGIS-10, Microsoft Excel and Access and other office productivity tools. Or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above.
