Spectrum Resource Group, a Wright Canada Holdings unit, is seeking workers for vegetation management field operations across Canada. The team will gather vegetation, load materials, and operate equipment in varied weather, prioritizing safety and efficient site cleanup.

Role requires ability to travel away from home, strong reliability, and a proactive safety mindset. Training and PPE are provided, with overtime and benefits per company policy.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and remove cut vegetation and debris from sites and dispose of or manage it.
• Load/unload logs, stumps, brush, and debris; feed brush into woodchipper.
• Set up tools and equipment for crew members.
• Perform physically demanding manual labor.
• Set up barriers or signs for safety and public protection.
• Promote safe working practices and teamwork.
• Clear dead or dry brush to reduce wildfire risk.
• Clear paths for vehicles, workers, or machinery.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE at all times.
• Perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and remove cut vegetation and debris from the site, ensuring it is properly disposed of or managed (e.g., mulching, burning, hauling away).
• Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up tools and equipment for crew memberts to use.
• Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Set up barriers or signs to keep the area safe for the crew and the public.
• Actively support and encourage working safely and supporting a positive team env
• In forested or dry areas, clear dead or dry brush to reduce the risk of wildfires.
• Clear paths for vehicles, workers, or machinery.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of injury.
• Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Expectations:

• The ability to work away from home for periods of time.
• B.C. Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent, is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Punctuality, dependability, and accountability in the field.
• The ability to work away from home for periods of time.
