Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of aircraft maintenance engineers by providing proper instructions, distributing and balancing the workload, inspecting work performed, reinforcing safety standards, complying with company policies, and ensuring proper discipline.
  2. Ensure the timely completion of all maintenance projects.
  3. Manage paperwork related to ordering necessary parts and coordinate their timely delivery.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving, taking a hands-on role as necessary.
  5. Complete all logbook entries, work orders, and crew passovers.
  6. Ensure the airworthiness of all aircraft maintained by Skyservice FBO.
  7. Maintain a flexible work schedule, including day, night, and evening shifts.
  8. Assume all duties of the Coordinator in their absence.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Valid Transport Canada M2 and/or M1 licenses.
  • Knowledge of MCM and paperwork systems.
  • Ability to supervise a crew of maintenance employees.
  • Confident team player with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess excellent organizational skills.
Education:
  • Completed Aircraft Engineer College Program.
