Status: Non-Exempt
Salary: $38,250 - $51,750 ($18.38 /hour - $24.87 /hour)

Position Summary
This position is a full time non-exempt, non-officer position that requires, excellent customer service skills and an ability to multi-task and work well with multiple teams. Acts as the conduit between Business Bankers, Loan Operations, Deposit Operations, and Cash Management/e-Banking to ensure efficiency and quality customer service throughout the process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Consumer Lenders and Business Bankers to review customer-provided financials, tax returns, and supporting
    documents provided for a loan application for completeness and accuracy.
  • Evaluate credit risk by considering factors such as the applicant's credit report, payment history, debt-to-income or debt-servicing ratio,
    and other financial ratios and metrics to gauge the borrower's ability to repay existing and proposed debt obligations.
  • Prepare financial reports for, and collaborate with, Consumer Lenders and Business Bankers to prepare loan request presentations and
    structure loan terms and conditions for approval.
  • This person will be well-versed in Timberline Bank's Loan Policy, Abrigo (loan underwriting system), and other programs utilized to
    complete their duties.
  • This person should have a basic understanding of consumer compliance rules and regulations as set forth by the regulators and
    Timberline Bank and the ability to work with our subject-matter experts when complicated issues present themselves.
  • Assist with ongoing customer relationship management to monitor and review:
    • Updated financial information.
    • Construction Draw Requests (including the ordering and review of inspection reports).
    • Investment accounts for the purpose of ongoing SBL monitoring.
    • Audit preparation and requests for information for the Bank's auditors and examiners
  • Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position.
  • Under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer and the Chief Risk Officer, draft and maintain appropriate internal controls and policies.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and other professional development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Required Knowledge and Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in banking, finance, or credit analysis is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market, project, and financial data accurately.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be organized and have great attention to detail.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and anticipate potential problems before they arise.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced work environment.

**Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered. In addition, Timberline Bank provides a variety of benefits to full time employees, including health insurance coverage, vision insurance, dental insurance, life and disability coverage, 401K plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
