About this Position
The Faculty of Business, Communication Studies & Aviation comprises the Bissett School of Business, the School of Communication Studies, and the Aviation Program. The Bissett School offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with majors in accounting, human resources, general management (with concentrations in innovation and entrepreneurship, social innovation). The Aviation Program provides a two-year Aviation Diploma and a four-year Bachelor of Aviation Management. The School of Communication Studies offers a four-year Bachelor of Communication Studies (BComms) with majors in Broadcast Media Studies, Information Design, Journalism, and Public Relations. The faculty is an EFMD member, emphasizing management development.
The Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Social Innovation invites applications for part-time contract faculty positions for the following semesters:
For Fall 2025, teaching needs include courses such as ENTR 2301, ENTR 3302, ENTR 3901, ENTR 4433, MKTG 2150, SINV 2201, and SINV 3305, with in-person classes.
For Winter 2026, courses include ENTR 4433 series. Classes are in person.
Minimum of a Master’s degree (PhD or DBA preferred) in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Social Innovation, or related fields. Practitioner experience is a strong asset. Teaching experience at post-secondary level is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate teaching excellence, professional experience, interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn new systems and possibly teach online. Commitment to campus seminars is expected.
