About this Position
Mount Royal’s Faculty of Science and Technology offers Bachelor's Degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Environmental Science, Geology, and General Science. These programs prepare students for various careers in science and technology by teaching foundational knowledge and fostering flexibility and innovative problem-solving skills.
Faculty members also support the liberal education component of all undergraduate programs by teaching General Education courses in GNED, focusing on numeracy and scientific literacy, exposing students to multiple disciplines while developing key intellectual capacities.
The Department of Mathematics and Computing offers a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS), a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSc CS), a Bachelor of Science in Data Science (BSc DS), and minors in these areas and in Mathematics, including Mathematics for Elementary Education.
The Department of Mathematics and Computing invites applications for sessional lecturers to teach Computer Science courses in Fall 2025 and Winter 2026. Available courses include:
