About This Position

About the Faculty of Science and Technology

Mount Royal’s Faculty of Science and Technology offers Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Environmental Science, Geology, and General Science. These programs prepare students for careers in science and technology by teaching fundamentals and fostering innovative problem-solving skills.

Faculty members also support the liberal education component of all undergraduate programs through courses in General Education (GNED), fostering academic discipline exploration and key undergraduate capacities.

The Department of Mathematics and Computing offers a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS), a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSc CS), and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science (BSc DS), along with minors in these areas.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or higher in a computing-related discipline and have relevant teaching experience. In your cover letter, specify which courses you are interested in teaching.
