Our nationwide client, operating within the digital print media and distribution industry, is seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst for their local Calgary branch.

With their corporate office in Toronto, and locations from coast to coast, this role will support the National Credit Manager in maintaining collection targets and accounts receivable efficiency levels.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of high volume credit and collections experience, and a natural ability to successfully build and foster client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Overseeing personal trial balance of 800 plus accounts and evaluating new accounts for credit limits
  • Addressing/resolving delinquent customer balances over phone/email in a positive manner
  • Reviewing accounts on credit hold and keeping internal/external sales reps updated on their account statuses
  • Posting inbound remittances such as cheque, EFT, credit cards, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field

Qualifications:

  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • High proficiency in MS 365 (specifically Excel)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years credit and collections experience in a high-volume credit department is required

Base Salary:$60,000 per year

  • Free parking

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
