Qualifications

What You’ll Be Contributing:

Related to CREDIT

  • Carry out customer credit analysis. Conduct in-depth reviews of files using credit reports and other sources of information, in order to make recommendations to establish terms and credit limits for final approval;
  • Proceed to open new customer accounts and modifications in order to ensure they comply with the procedures;
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure customers information is accurate and up to date and process regular reviews and update databases;
  • Respect the procedures for assigning and maintaining credit privileges in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Monitor credit insurance portfolio, request credit limit approvals and prepare monthly reporting and analysis of credit limits;
  • Respond to requests and questions from external and internal clients;
  • Assist the Credit manager in updating the company credit policies.

Related to CASH APPLICATION

  • Input and process daily cash receipts from cheques, wire transfers and credit cards;
  • Manage email in accordance with department guidelines;
  • Collaborate with AR in the review and resolution of unidentified and unapplied payments;
  • Participate in Accounting Department initiatives;
  • Liaison with internal and external customers.

What Sets You Apart:

  • College degree in Accounting or Administration (relevant experience will be considered);
  • Relevant experience of minimum 1-3 years in a similar role;
  • Microsoft knowledges (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Experience with B2B accounts receivable and credit will be considered as an asset;
  • Experience dealing with credit insurer will be considered as an asset;
  • Experience on SAP Business One will be considered as an asset;
  • Relevant knowledge of the Cash Application processes;
  • Experience with Inter-Company & Multi Currency environments;
  • Experience in managing large volumes of transactions in multiple bank accounts;
