What Opportunity Awaits?

As we continue to grow, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time 6-month contract Credit Analyst supporting our Business Banking team. This position is eligible for remote work.

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Have demonstrated commercial credit underwriting experience, with a preference for 3-5 years of direct experience.
  • Be proficient in analyzing balance sheets, cash flows, and business plans. Competent in financial ratios and understanding cash flow mechanics.
  • Be familiar with different borrower types and their relationship to collateral ownership, loan repayment, and structures.
  • Exhibit the ability to identify and mitigate risks, work independently, prioritize tasks, and resolve problems.
  • Conduct accurate financial analysis and assess risk for new and existing customers.
  • Evaluate credit terms based on provided documents, negotiate as needed, and submit completed credit applications to Relationship Managers for review.
  • Prepare, structure, and deliver meaningful, detailed credit analyses while providing efficient and timely service.
  • Adhere to credit and risk policies and procedures; identify any exceptions, document, approve, and report them appropriately.
  • Provide accurate financial analysis and risk assessment for Owners borrowing between $250,000 and $10 million (and sometimes beyond).
  • Complete and approve Annual Summary Reviews for loans up to $2,000,000 in line with policy.
  • Ensure all credit files are complete, including identifying and documenting deficiencies.
  • Understand the current financial environment landscape and associated risks.
  • Have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and be adept at using various software applications.
  • Understand and review the Owner’s business to recommend credit solutions and assist with identifying potential needs.
