Job Description
Parsons is looking for a self-motivated creative traffic coordinator to support our team and projects. In this role, you will oversee a diverse range of creative and branding projects, manage a high-volume workload, effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment, and react with appropriate urgency and thoughtfulness to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround. The coordinator will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including our internal and external communication teams, HR, IT, and other business personnel, to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project outcomes.
This role is vital to our team, and we are seeking a meticulous, consistent, and agile team player with a solutions-oriented mindset.
This role offers a 100% remote work schedule, on an East Coast business hours schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing a variety of creative and brand projects, such as digital and print materials, ad campaigns, social content, marketing videos, articles, script writing, copy editing, etc.
- Coordinating project activities from start to end, including production schedules, intake calls, brainstorming sessions, creative briefs, draft reviews, and final file delivery.
- Documenting project details in our project management system (Wrike), researching and gathering all necessary information, setting up tasks, assigning internal resources, and ensuring assignees understand the goals of each project.
- Addressing obstacles that are flagged as impediments to moving a project forward in the workflow—such as missing information, delays, and pending approvals—in a timely manner.
- Proactively manage client expectations by consistently communicating project status updates, timely production schedule reminders, and escalating potential issues to stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and prevent bottlenecks.
- Reviewing daily workloads and adjusting assignments as needed, ensuring appropriate talent is used and workloads are evenly maintained. Reprioritizing tasks if needed to meet deadlines.
- Managing a high volume of requests and projects at different stages in the workflow, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and personal goals are met.
- Ensuring final project deliverables align with business objectives, meet brand standards, and are completed on time, guaranteeing compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in traffic coordination or project management, preferably in a creative or marketing environment
- Knowledge of creative processes and best practices
- Proficiency in project management tools (Wrike or other PM platforms) and software (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.)
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
- Ability to approach new challenges with a can-do, enthusiastic attitude, and to contribute constructively to a positive, collaborative environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, fostering constructive working relationships and smooth communication between groups
- Proactive, creative problem solver, highly adaptable to evolving processes, open to new tools, and flexible to shifts in project scope
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills
- Resilient in dynamic settings, composed under pressure, and is receptive to feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow
