Are you a collaborative leader with a passion for multimedia and visual communications? We’re looking for a creative and strategic professional to join our team and bring our multimedia projects to new heights. In this role, you’ll:

Location

Ottawa, Ontario. CSE has two accessible facilities . Flexible work arrangements, including telework for a portion of the work week, may be possible.

Conditions of employment

A valid Enhanced Top Secret (ETS) security clearance is a condition of employment that must be met before an offer can be made.

In order to be considered, your cover letter must clearly explain how you meet the following education and experience requirements.

Education

You must have either one of the following:

  • A university degree in a field related to the position, such as Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing Fine Arts, Computer Science, Multimedia, Animation, Graphic Design or Visual Communications, or
  • A diploma in a field related to the position (as above) along with relevant experience in the field of communications.

Note: The educational program must be recognized in Canada, and you must be able to provide proof of education credentials.

  • Recent* experience using multimedia tools and software to create a variety of high-quality multimedia projects, with a focus on video and photography projects, tailored to client needs.
  • Recent* experience providing advice and recommendations to management on projects and team resources (i.e. tools, equipment, staff, etc.) to be successful.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members, and/or leading working groups or project teams, including managing workload and daily operations and, assigning requests as well as monitoring and reporting on team performance.
  • Experience managing multimedia projects, with a focus on video and photography, from concept planning to final delivery, including setting objectives, researching ideas, developing proposals, and overseeing all aspects of the project.

*Note: For the purposes of this hiring process, “recent” is defined as experience having normally been acquired within the last two (2) years.
