Job summary

Sterling Crane Canada is seeking a Crane Operator (Journeyperson/Red Seal or 3rd Year Apprentice) based in Winnipeg, MB. This straight-time hourly, unionized role plays a key part in crane assembly, rigging, and equipment transport at customer sites across Manitoba.

The position requires a 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate, a Class 1A license, and a commitment to safe work practices in a collaborative team environment. CLOSING DATE is listed as Until Filled.

Qualifications

• 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate.
• Class 1A driver’s license is required.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices, follow company policies and be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Must be in good standing with IUOE Local 987 or become members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 987.

JOB TYPE: Straight-time hourly position, unionized. LOCATION: Sites of business operation as required, branch located at PO Box 56 Grp 582 Rr 5, Winnipeg Manitoba (on-site).
