Job description

We're seeking an Overhead Crane Technician to join our client in the Engineering Industry in Toronto. What We Offer :

• Work Hours : Monday - Friday : 8 : 00 AM to 5 PM (overtime pay for any workday over 8 hours of work)
• Salary : $57,314 to $103,521 / yr
• Job Type : Permanent, Full-time
• Benefits - Extensive Medical / Dental, company truck, 3 weeks’ vacation, RRSP program, paid 407 ETR, paid overtime over 40 hours.

What You'll Do :

• Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical / air components used on cranes.
• Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes.
• Review customer technical inquiries and recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance.
• Answer service calls.
• Perform cold calling to attract new customers.
• Proactively propose technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability, reliability, productivity, and safety.

What We're Looking For :

• Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree.
• Electrical License such as 442a, Journeyman Electrician or Red Seal.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• G Driver's license.
• Welding experience is an asset.
