What you'll do:
- Collaborate with pharmacist in product release with the pharmacist reviewing the prescription and patient record.
- Conduct product verification (quickly and accurately) on all compliance packs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
- Use the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine (VBM) and Parata MAX Software to verify weekly compliance packs as well as vials for SDM stores
- Prepare compliance packs and vials for delivery
- Work with Pharmacy Assistant for accurate dispensing
- Ensure proper storage, handling, disposal of drugs and return to stock procedure in accordance with SOPs
What you bring:
- Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), in good standing
- Liability insurance to legally practice as a RPhT
- A minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail)
- Experience with high volume filling environments is preferred
- Experience working with Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine (VBM) and Parata MAX is an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail
- Complete work with minimal supervision
- Teammate and Leadership skills
