Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves.
8. Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
9. Clean spills, pick up trash inside store and parking lot.
10. Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
11. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
12. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
13. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
14. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
15. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
16. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
17. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
18. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
19. Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
20. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
21. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
22. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
23. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $16.10 - $16.40 per hour.
