Job description

Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Courseware Developer for a contract position to assist with the development and execution of training programs and materials that align with evolving operational requirements, ensuring enhanced intelligence and interoperability capabilities.

Full-Time Contract : 1 year + 4 option years

Clearance : Top Secret

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and content analyses.
• Design and oversee training rollout plans for IM / IT projects.
• Develop clear, performance-based learning objectives and evaluation metrics.
• Design instructional strategies and recommend appropriate delivery media.
• Produce training content, including written, visual, and interactive materials.
• Prepare and support end-user training initiatives based on newly developed courseware.
• Deliver communications to audiences of varying sizes via written reports, presentations, and oral briefings.
• Conduct quality assurance and present documentation to senior management.
• Prepare project transition documents, meeting notes, progress reports, and respond to internal requests.
• Collaborate in a secure, classified environment involving Secret and Top Secret information.

Qualifications

• 10+ years conducting training needs assessments for IM / IT projects.
• 6+ years planning and monitoring IM / IT training rollouts.
• 6+ years developing courseware and training users based on that material.
• Degree or diploma in science, engineering, or IM / IT-related studies.
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Captivate and RoboHelp.
• Certifications in courseware development or related technologies (multiple / professional-level preferred).
