The Department of Political Science is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Winter 2026. Please include your Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae and if applicable a copy of your Study/Work Permit. A brief course outline is optional.

POLI 321-001 Issues: Canadian Public Policy (3 Credits - CAP 80)
The Canadian political process through an analysis of critical policy issues in community development, welfare state, education, and institutional reforms in public service delivery systems. Diagnostic and prescriptive interpretations of public choices in a federal-parliamentary regime.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
  • A completed PhD degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in Political Science or a discipline related to the course;
  • Provide evidence of effective teaching ability as a result of having successfully taught a similar course;
  • The candidate's area of specialization must be as close as possible to that of the course being offered;
  • Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.

Monday and Wednesday 11:35 am-12:55 pm, January 5, 2026 – April 14, 2026. Location: RPHYS 118.

Salary: $11,479 per course.
