Job summary

  • Deliver course content, assess students, and maintain robust classroom engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Desautels Faculty of Management - Finance Area for course objectives.

Teaching Qualification Requirements
  • Education: PhD in Finance or Economics with a particular focus on macro-economics or macro-finance.
  • Other graduate degrees in Finance, Economics, and related fields will be considered when in combination with relevant work and teaching experience.
  • Experience: Significant work experience (at least 5 years) in an area directly relevant to the course (examples include, among others, macro research, economics research, or central banking), especially for candidates without a PhD.
  • Teaching record in a comparable university course a plus
  • Other: Candidate must provide a strong track record in university-level teaching or document other relevant skills that will provide the basis for strong expectations about performance in the classroom
