PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an assetExperience:1.Expert knowledge of:Methods of teaching the social studies curriculum in the secondary schools of QuebecDisciplinary underpinnings of the main area(s) of inquiry in the social studies and the ways in which they can be taught for meaning and understandingThe epistemological workings of at least one main discipline underlying the social studies (history)A diverse range of approaches, methods, and strategies for the teaching of social studies (history)2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level3.
