The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in winter 2026: ANTH 308 – Political Anthropology 01, which covers the study of political systems and political processes, conflict and its resolution, with an emphasis on local-level politics and non-industrial societies.

The course details are as follows:

  • Duration: January 5 – April 14, 2026
  • Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday (11:35 am – 12:55 pm)
  • Location: Trottier Building room 0070

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

  • Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds. with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
  • Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background and experience in teaching political anthropology.
