KPMG’s Business School (KBS) Audit is committed to building the audit professionals’ knowledge and skills to maintain and uphold audit quality in client work. The KBS supports their professional development through the development and delivery of high-quality, interactive web-based and instructor-led training. We are currently seeking a Course Developer to support the development of web-based learning modules.
What You Will Do
- Support creation of engaging and effective web-based training modules on technical audit and accounting topics using rapid development tools.
- Create and edit learning videos, PDFs, assessments, slide decks, participant materials, and audio transcripts.
- Create French language versions of eLearning courses.
- Test course effectiveness on the learning management system and document findings.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
- Serve as a technical resource for internally developed and presented programs.
Business needs may require employees to work beyond normal hours, and our flexible approach accommodates this as well as personal matters.
What You Bring To The Role
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Instructional Design and Adult Learning.
- At least 1 year of experience in eLearning design.
- At least 1 year of experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
- Intermediate skills in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent written communication skills for instructional text.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to build relationships and accept feedback.
- Familiarity with other eLearning tools like Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora, etc.
- Audio/video editing skills are a plus.
- Instructional design experience is an asset.
This position requires fluency in English, both written and oral, to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range
The base salary range is $46,500 to $70,500, potentially including bonuses. Salary offers depend on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
