Course/Curriculum Dev 5-Training

Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Curriculum team is responsible for creating effective training content to enable customers and partners deploy and use EPM products successfully. The job of a Senior Principal Curriculum Developer (CD) is to design, develop, and maintain media-based training including training courses, videos, online tutorials, and certification exams for EPM products. The CD will own the overall development process and should have in-depth knowledge of the EPM product they are responsible for.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated person with a passion for creating engaging eLearning content for adult learners. They will work closely with product development and product management to identify training and certification needs. They will design, develop, and maintain e-learning content while applying instructional design principles and modern design standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge and be comfortable installing and configuring products. They should also possess a good understanding of graphic design principles.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and identify customer’s requirements and learning needs to define learning goals and the training context.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather best practices and incorporate expertise into learning objectives and user scenarios; build product expertise and become a SME in Oracle Cloud EPM products.
3. Design and develop instructionally and technically sound training materials, including PowerPoint slides, hands-on labs, demonstrations, and course setup files. Use defined standards and templates to create high-quality training that combines multiple components for a positive user experience.
4. Project manage all aspects of the development process, including understanding training requirements, creating a plan, developing content, and communicating regularly with various stakeholders.
5. Design and develop training videos that explain product functionality in a clear and concise manner. Use multimedia elements to enhance understanding and to achieve higher engagement and better knowledge retention.
6. Develop certification for EPM products that help partners and customers to validate their skills in EPM technologies and enhance their professional profiles.
7. Mentor new hires by establishing a strong connection with them, offering guidance and support, and helping them achieve their goals by sharing your experience.
8. Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
9. Follow project plans and meet all deadlines.
