Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver customer packages according to daily schedules.
  • Scan packages/mail upon receipt, delivery, or return to the depot at the end of the day.
  • Resolve issues on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR).
  • Notify the unit manager if inspections fail.

Description

The Utility Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise. The job may also cover other absent couriers on any work shift.

Responsibilities
  1. Pick up and deliver customer packages according to daily schedules.
  2. Scan packages/mail upon receipt, delivery, or return to the depot at the end of the day.
  3. Resolve issues on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
  4. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR).
  5. If inspections fail, notify the unit manager.
